About Centaur Spa Journal

Independent guides to pool, spa, automatic cover, commercial aquatic, safety, and energy-efficient design.

Last updated: 2026-08-25

Centaur Spa Journal is an independent editorial resource for pool and spa design, automatic pool covers, commercial aquatic planning, safety, equipment, energy, and maintenance.

It is written for landscape architects, pool consultants, hotel and resort teams, contractors, and informed owners. It is not a booking site, a day spa, or a product catalog.

What this journal is

  • A set of planning hubs and, later, technical guides
  • A place to compare system types and write a clearer brief
  • A record of sources and limits, including local code variation

What this journal is not

  • Centaur Health Resort and Spa, and it does not take lodging or massage reservations
  • An automatic pool cover manufacturer or dealer storefront
  • A substitute for stamped engineering, a building official, or a manufacturer manual
  • A copy of PoolProjectSupply or any other supplier site

How to read a hub

Each hub leads with a direct answer, then limits, then a matrix. Child guides will attach later. Until they exist, use the matrix to brief a consultant, an electrician, or a facility team. Do not treat an unsigned hub as a stamp.

Start with automatic pool covers if the opening and the drive type are the problem. Start with pool and spa design if the two bodies of water are fighting. Start with history if you typed the old resort name.

How pages are made

Drafts may use AI for outlines and language. Technical numbers, standard editions, and conclusions need a human check before they stay published. We do not invent project counts, test data, or certifications.

See Authors for the current desk byline and Editorial policy for drafting, sources, and corrections. Until named reviewers appear, treat unsigned hubs as journal voice, not as a licensed opinion.

Domain history

This domain once pointed to a health resort in Arroyo Grande, California. That business is not this publication. Read About the Former Centaur Health Resort & Spa Website if you were looking for the old lodging site.

What we will publish next

Support guides will attach to these hubs: hydraulic versus electric covers, undertrack versus top-track, retrofit, irregular shapes, safety standards, resort cover planning, and cover energy savings with listed assumptions. Tools will ship as HTML pages with a worked example, not as a lone download button.

We will not publish fifty thin pages in a week. We will not restore the former Quebrada Lane phone number as current contact. We will not add hotel or day-spa schema.

Contact

Use the contact path on this site when it is published. Do not use the former resort address or phone number as a way to reach the journal.
